Since I don’t do social media, this space, next to whatever comparatively brief information is available on the sites of the publishers who carry my books through the Draft2Digital distribution network—see the relevant Universal Book Links on each book’s page—is the only source of information about my novels.

Here are a few things I believe in. They're at the heart of every story I write.

Thing ONE
Women and men are different but equal. They absolutely, completely and desperately need each other at every level of human existence. Forgetting that is at the root of the world's problems and always has been. There's an almost forgotten 1952 novel by Philip Wylie: The Disappearance. Very difficult to get and of course very dated. But it is a jewel that cuts through all the vapid gender bullshit that—with very few, small-in-scale and usually short-lived exceptions—has pervaded human history and continues to poison all our lives.

Thing TWO
Love doesn't just matter, but—next to actually being alive!—it is what matters.
Everything else is an optional decoration.

Thing THREE
Truth is precious.
As is trust.

Thing FOUR
Don't lie to children.
