Eclipse End
This another one of those stories that deals with generational conflicts and connections, in this case between Gen-Y and Gen-Z. I had barely started to write it, when there was what felt like an uncanny but heartwarming resonance in an accidental meeting with a couple, who, like the Ben and Lis of this story, found that generational barriers, no matter what current social ambience and Zeitgeist dictates, will fade into insignificance when ‘true love’ enters into what turns out to be a fortuitous and utterly unexpected meeting.
So, this is about Lis and Ben, for whom the New Zealand solar eclipse of 2028 provided more than just a celestial spectacle with hidden meanings and led both into a new and unexpected future.
